March 6, 2008 Board Meeting
Present: Mike Kaminski, Brandee Justus, John Molloy, Diane McLoughlin
Agenda: Directory for Neighborhood; 2008 Maintenance Contract; Matching Grant Program; Mailbox reminder; New Signs for Neighborhood; Request from homeowner; Misc Business
Directory – Board members will each take a portion of the list of homeowners and distribute an activity card with the year’s activities listed as well as poll the homeowner for information to be included in the updated subdivision directory. The goal is to complete the directory by the end of March.
2008 Maintenance Contract – has been completed and signed with Mainscape. The eyebrow areas will not be included in the contract unless it is observed that those areas are not being maintained by subdivision members. Homeowners will be solicited to maintain the three eyebrow areas.
Matching Grant Program – A copy of the grant guidelines was received and will be completed by the board members to be submitted to the Town of Fishers by March 28. Bids for lighting, mulch and signs will be obtained and added to the criteria required by the grant instructions.
Mailbox Reminder – the board will print and distribute reminder notices regarding information on replacing worn mailboxes.
New Signs for the Neighborhood – The board reviewed and selected styles for the new signage in the neighborhood. Some of the cost of the signs will be included in the grant if applicable.
Request from Homeowner – A written request as well as outline of plans/materials was received from homeowner Janet Wiedman for an update to her home. The request was approved by the board.
Misc Business – It was confirmed that the local fire department will be available to visit the subdivision with a truck when we hold our annual cookout in Sept. This is provided as a community service if the date is open and available for the department.
The next board meeting will be held Monday, April 14, 8 PM at Starbuck’s on 96th St.
