Agenda: Review/approve Oct minutes; Review/Discuss Budget Items; Review mailing material for Annual Meeting
The minutes for October were read and approved by the board.
Discussion was had regarding the addition of outlets at the entryway. John M. indicated the cost would be approximately $200. A decision was made to go ahead and have that work done and have the light fixture on the North side repaired as well since it does not stay lit consistently.
2008 expenditure items for the common area were discussed. A decision to include the following items in the budget for next year was made: irrigation – $850, move electric box – $600, add stone to the pergola posts – $750, add two benches to the pergola area – $300, purchase two shade trees – $400, lighting for the pergola – $150, matching funds for a new street sign at the entryway – $300.
Reviewed mailing materials for the annual meeting – Official Notice will be sent Dec 22 and a reminder postcard will be sent Jan 2.
Discussed our mowing contract with Growing Image. John M. will solicit bids from Engledow and Mainscape for comparison to current costs.
Discussed real estate development companies and their functions to see if it would be cost effective to have them take over the operations of the subdivision. Janet W. will contact Kirkpatrick to obtain an estimate for services.
Next board meeting will be the Annual Homeowner’s meeting to be held January 16, 7:00 PM at the Fishers Train Station.
