Those of you who live around the pond may have noticed that the fountain has been off and on the last few weeks. We noticed that it was surging rather than the normal constant flow, so we turned it off to avoid potential damage.

After checking with the fountain maintenance company, they said there is probably something caught in it, but it would not damage the fountain, and it was best to leave it on for the health of the pond. So, it’s back on.

I remember replacing my the lights around my garage door and porch at least twice a year when I was using incandescent (normal) light bulbs. They just couldn’t handle the weather I guess. A couple years ago, I decided to try using the new compact fluorescent lights – and they haven’t burned out since! Read the rest of this entry »

They can customize whatever your needs are from replacing just the mailbox, the post, the paper box, etc. They will also install if you wish. Of course each service has a fee associated with it.

Easter-egg hunt! – April 7^th (Saturday)

The annual Hillsborough Easter Egg hunt is April 7^th (the day before Easter) at 10am. E-mail Gretchen at gretchen.thurber@insightbb.com if you would like to help organize this event. More details to follow.

Capital Improvement Committee Meeting -April 11^th (Wednesday)

We need your input! All residents who wish to have input into improving the common area – especially the “gazebo” area are invited to be a part of this committee. The next meeting is April 11^th at 7pm

Board Meeting – April 18 (Wednesday)

The next regularly scheduled board meeting is April 18th at 7pm. This meeting is at Diane McLoughlin’s house.

Neighborhood Work Day – April 21 (Saturday)

You can help to keep dues down and make the neighborhood look great this season. Please plan to attend this spring’s neighborhood work day. We start at 8am in the “gazebo” area. Bring yourself and lawn tools (shovels, rakes, pruners, wheel-barrow, etc.).

Just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate on the 21^st.
