New mailboxes for the whole neighborhood have been ordered and will be installed over the next 3-4 weeks (depending on weather).

After our annual meeting in which the size, color, verbage was voted on, we have determined Mailbox Solutions will be our vendor of choice to supply the mailboxes and posts (as needed). Mailbox Solutions will also offer other services for maintenance.

The Homeowner’s Association will pay for the mailbox and installation. However, any posts that are damaged or are in disrepair will need to be replaced. You can also have your post replaced if you decide it just does not look good anymore. The payment for the post and installation will be the responsibility of the homeowner. You should work directly with Mailbox Solutions to arrange replacement of your post at the same time the mailbox is completed. Mailbox Solutions’ cost for the post and installation is $135.00 + tax. This price is tied to replacing the mailbox and post at the same time. Please call Mailbox Solutions at 317-460-1010 and let them know your subdivision, address, name and phone number.

Thanks to all that participated in our Annual Homeowner’s Meeting. The notes from the meeting are available to view on our “Download” link at the top of this page. Besides elections and activity assignments, the key issue addressed was the need for new mailboxes. Please see the meeting notes for specific details, but the type and design of mailbox has been settled. The timing for the new mailboxes is yet to be determined, but the committee will move forward as quickly as possible.

We don’t want to send you spam or sell your email address to marketers! The Highlands at Geist Home Owners Association Board needs to be able to contact you with urgent updates from Crime Watch, as well as notices on neighborhood events.

Your email will be kept confidential. We will only send you messages when you really need to know something. If there has been a suspcious person in the neighborhood, I bet you’d want to know right away! Let us help you keep informed.

If you have already submitted an updated information form for the neighborhood directory, thank you! If not, please use the “contact us” form to give us your email address (for board use only), along with any other information you don’t mind sharing with neighbors (such the names of the people living in your home and a phone number where you can be reached). It’s up to you how much information you share for the directory.
