Volunteers Needed for the Dream Home Event

Volunteering at the Dream Home is a great deal of fun, especially when you sign up with a group of people you already know–friends, family, church group, co-workers, book club, or neighbors. Each volunteer (or group) is assigned a room or area of this grand home to highlight its features. Each shift is short (3-4 hours) and requires 15-20 hosts/volunteers.

For the 2008 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home event October 4-19 at Hampton Cove in Geist. Proceeds benefit the Dyslexia Institute of Indiana, a nonprofit organization helping children and adults overcome reading disabilities.

This year’s home will be located in Hampton Cove at Geist, featuring nearly 10,000 square feet of luxury on the water. This year, the builder is Derek Wellman and the developer is Jeff McDonald.
