January Newsletter Debacle

I want to apologize to all of you who have not received your January issue of the “atGeist Community Newsletters” in the mail yet. Most of them were not mailed until today. Why?

Our mailhouse in northern Indiana accidentally mismarked our paperwork when they dropped them in the mail two weeks ago causing our postage rate to go up. We had made a deposit for amount we had been told it would take, but with the paperwork goof our amount increased by a whopping $37. After a few calls downtown to the post office, my last call from them was “we’re okay to go ahead and drop these in the mail”. Well, two weeks later, I find out that the bulk of the newsletters are still sitting on a dock downtown waiting on $37 in postage from us. Needless to say I’m pretty upset and embarrassed by this. They are being mailed today and should arrive tomorrow and the first of next week. I know now where they come up with the term “going postal”, let’s just say I wasn’t a happy camper after I got off the phone with the bulk mail center downtown.
