‘The Man Who Came to Dinner’ at LC Nov. 13-15

Friends, family, romance and a broken leg: a perfect formula for any silver screen romantic comedy — and the content of this year’s fall play, Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman’s “The Man Who Came to Dinner,” at Lawrence Central High School.

The action revolves around radio talk show host Sheridan Whiteside, who breaks his leg on the porch of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley, who are forced to take him in for fear of a lawsuit.

The comedy kicks into gear in LC’s auditorium at 7 p.m. Nov. 13-15. Tickets are $5 in advance, $6 at the door.
