‘The Boys Next Door’ at Lawrence Central

Lawrence Central’s Thespian Society will present “The Boys Next Door” at 7 p.m. Feb. 5-7 in the school auditorium. Tickets, at $6 and $8, are available through the school’s Box Office.

“The Boys Next Door,” by Tom Griffin, is a comedy focused on a group of four mentally challenged men who live together in a group home with a social worker.

LC senior Andrew Ruggles has been cast as Jack, the social worker. “I’m excited to play Jack and be a part of this production because I get to work with a really talented cast in a comedy with a lot of heart,” he said. “Today there are a lot of meaningless comedies, but this one actually has a meaning.”
