Subaru Donates Vehicles to McKenzie Auto Service Program

Subaru of Indiana gave McKenzie Career Center’s Auto Service program a big boost over the holiday. Richard Johnson, public relations director of Subaru of Indiana called to say they had a donation.

The donation was two Subaru Legacy GT’s, 1 Subaru Outback Wagon, 1 Isuzu Rodeo and 1 left-handed drive European Isuzu MU.  Donated cars are so important to the program.  Students need to work on current models because the technology changes so quickly.  Auto Service students work summers and during the school year as service technician trainees.  These donated cars will enable students to be proficient in more areas prior to beginning work in the dealership.

This is the biggest one-time donation of cars in the history of the program.
