Stone Creek Dining Company Opens in Hamilton Town Center

Noblesville, Ind. – The anticipated opening of Stone Creek Dining Company in Hamilton Town Center has arrived. The restaurant opened Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, in the new Hamilton Town Center Mall, located across from Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Stone Creek Dining Company is one of the most innovative new restaurants on the north side of Indianapolis. This is the eighth restaurant in the Cunningham family of restaurants to open in the Midwest in the last 11 years. Other Cunningham restaurants include Boulder Creek, Brownsburg; Café 251, downtown Indianapolis; Charbonos, Avon; and Stone Creek in Greenwood, Plainfield, Zionsville and Cincinnati.

The company, founded by Cincinnati native Mike Cunningham, has seen tremendous growth in the past 11 years. Boulder Creek Dining Company, an upscale, casual restaurant with mountain lodge décor, was the company’s first restaurant and opened in Brownsburg in 1997. Following the success of Boulder Creek, Cunningham moved to Avon in 1999 to open Charbonos, which welcomes guests to the Tuscan countryside and serves up ample portions of salads, pastas featuring housemade sauces, tender steaks and wood-fired pizzas. Cunningham then opened his first stand-alone restaurant on the southside in 2003, Stone Creek Dining Company. This new addition blended the casual elegance of Charbonos with the hearty warmth of Boulder Creek in a more contemporary setting. The menu was a chance to experiment and features a wide variety of sandwiches, salads, seafood, pastas, steaks, chops and chicken.  The restaurant was such a success, that Stone Creek Plainfield soon followed in 2005, Stone Creek Zionsville in February 2007, and Stone Creek Montgomery, located in Cunningham’s hometown of Cincinnati, in August 2007.

The Cunningham’s are excited about their most recent endeavor in Noblesville.

“Noblesville is a thriving area with tremendous growth and I am excited to be a part of it,” said Managing Partner Mike Cunningham. “This is our eighth restaurant in Indiana and is the best yet. Shoppers will now be able to enjoy steaks, pasta and fresh seafood in a great atmosphere, finished by our award winning Cranberry-Golden Raisin Bread Pudding.”

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner daily and will offer private dining facilities for special occasions with friends and family or important meetings with colleagues or clients. The restaurant also provides off-premise catering. Hours are Monday–Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m.; Friday–Saturday, 11 a.m.–11:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.–9 p.m.
