Detective Alex Petty of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has released a sketch of a man who reportedly robbed a woman at gun point in her home.
On January 7, 2009 at approximately 4:00 p.m. in the residential neighborhood area of East 96th Street and Fall Creek Road a man entered through an unlocked door at the rear of the residence. The suspect was confronted by the victim in the kitchen, at which time the suspect displayed a handgun and ordered the victim into a bathroom. The suspect then ransacked several rooms in the home, taking jewelry and cash. No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5’10 to 6’0 tall 190 to 210 pounds, fair skinned and an unshaven face. The suspect was wearing a dark colored knit cap, a black carhart style coat and tan carhart bib style coveralls.
The suspect may be in an older model red full-size pick up truck, with rust on the driver’s side door and possibly a snow blower in the bed of the truck.
