San’ Dee’s features urban apparel with great selection of sizes

San' Dee's If you are looking for some new threads in the new year—there’s a new shop in town! San’ Dee’s Fashion opened its doors last month in the Oaklandon Commons shopping area at Oaklandon and Pendleton Pike. Sandra Kendrick owns the store along with her husband Michael Kendrick, who also runs a construction business.

“My husband knew I always wanted my own store, and finally, he thought it was time!” says Sandra.

The store specializes in men, women and young adult clothing with a definite urban flair. It has an impressive selection of sizes–from ladies’ size 0 to a 4X in men’s clothing. And there are a lot of popular names in jeans, including “The Year Of” jeans.

“I wanted fun, cool clothes and yet affordable” says Sandra.

One example is the rack of comfortable-looking sweatsuits that go up to size to 2XL, priced at $89.99. The store is also stocked with purses, slat bags, belts, hats, hoodies, jewelry and more. And Sandra plans to keep the variety coming.

“I like scouting the markets for new styles,” she says. “I want customers to always be able to stop in and find something new.”

The Kendricks are excited about their new store in the new year, as they opened just barely in time to catch the holiday rush. The shop is now open seven days a week. I wondered how Sandra Kendrick squeezes it all in, when I learned she and Michael have nine kids between the two of them!

Well, I look at it this way….Sandra Kendrick must really know what she’s doing when it comes to shopping! Visit her store in the Oaklandon Commons shops from 10-7 Monday –Thursday, 10-8 Friday and Saturday and 12-7 on Sundays.
