Petition Drive at mama bears monday morning

If you are in the unincorporated areas around Geist and would like to show your support of the incorporation efforts, stop by Mama Bear’s at the corner of Brooks School Road and Fall Creek Road tomorrow morning between 7:30 am and Noon to sign a petition for the new Towns of Geist. Members of the Geist United Opposition and area supporters will be on-hand to answer questions.

All signed petitions will be taken to the Hamilton County Courthouse for a 2:00 pm meeting with the Hamilton County Commissioners. We submitted 273 signed petitions (nearly 15% of all affected by annexation) on Friday morning after only a few hours of going door to door. If we can show strong support for the incorporation efforts, it will help the County Commissioners make the right decision and accept our petition to incorporate.
