Outlook Christian Church, formerly Oaklandon Christian Church for the past 142 years, has relocated to a newly constructed campus just south of McCordsville. Outlook has several grand opening events planned to get to know its new community.
The events kick off on Sunday, February 22 with a building Dedication Service at 3 p.m. An Open House will follow on Sunday, March 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. In addition to building tours, the Open House will offer more information on Sunday services, worship music and ministries offered by Outlook.
Camp Outlook Family Fun Day is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. This family-focused event will have games, entertainment, food and fellowship, with the highlight being an indoor scavenger hunt on the “trails” of Camp Outlook.
Events will wrap up at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 21 with SHINE, a worship concert. Outlook’s teams of talented musicians and vocalists will present an evening full of uplifting contemporary Christian music. Anyone attending is encouraged to bring a donation of canned food items to help stock the shelves of OCC’s Food Pantry, which offers help to the local community on a year round basis.
All events are free and open to the public.
Outlook has an average weekly attendance of about 600 in three distinct Sunday morning services: Sanctuary at 8:15, Celebration at 9:30 and Sunday 10:59 beginning at just before 11 a.m.
The new Outlook campus is located at 6531 N 600 W (Mt. Comfort Road) just south of McCordsville. The pastor is Rob McCord. For more information, visit the Outlook Christian Church website at www.outlookchurch.org.

When I visit my daughter, I always drive by. Now that I've taken the time to check OCC out online, I will make it a point to visit if I'm there on a Sunday. Definitely I will stop in for the Recovery program on Tuesday evenings. Thank you!
