New course map available for Geist Half Marathon

A new course map has been added to the GeistHalf.com website, highlighting the waterstop locations, mile markers, and heavy foot traffic times for residents living on the course route.

Runners and walkers will enjoy a beautiful, residential route that takes them through some of Indianapolis’s most prestigious communities. Starting just south of Hamilton Southeastern High School off of Olio Road (ample free parking), participants will head south and run through the Springs of Cambridge and turn west towards the Geist Marina. 5K runners and walkers will end just past the Fall Creek Parkway bridge at the Geist Marina parking lot. Half marathon runners will continue past the Marina southward down Fall Creek Parkway to 79th Street where they will round the southern end of Geist Reservoir cutting through Feather Cove I and Admirals Bay. Half marathon runners will cross Geist Reservoir five times, ending at the Geist Marina as well.
