McKenzie Robotics Team Caps off Season with Division Win at World Championships

The McKenzie Robotics team just got back from Atlanta and capped off a very successful season with a division win, sealing the Kil-a-Bytes claim to Champion status.

About 340 teams participated in the National/World Championships.  Teams from the US, Israel, Holland, France, Mexico, Canada and Brazil were there.  The championships are divided into four divisions – The Kil-a-bytes won the Archimedes division but did not advance in the final rounds of the championships.

To put this into perspective, there are about 1,500 active teams.  Only 12 teams make it to the championship round and compete on the “Einstein field.” McKenzie was one of the 12 teams.  They are certainly considered to be one of the top performers on a world level.
