Local ‘Guy’ Authors ‘Kiddy Ditties’

Guy Arneson, Author of Geist author Guy Arneson has written a unique children’s series of books called “Kiddy Ditties.”  These stories are composed in catchy rhymes and target kids from age three to third grade.

After reading bedtime stories to his grandson (who requested the same favorite book night after night), Arneson thought to himself, “I can do much better than this.”  And so he did. His grandson was his inspiration.

The Kiddy Ditties teach a broad range of values, morals and concepts such as friendship, family and teamwork, all at the sound of melodic words. The illustrator for these books is Joshua F. Wright, who uses bright, cheerful colors for his artwork and vivid expressions for his characters. If you’d like to view an online video presentation of these books, visit www.kiddyditties.com

Olivia Rusk Doing the Voice-Over for Arneson also has started a website called the “Gift of Art Network.” Artists donate artwork, then buyers purchase the artwork, with 70% of the proceeds donated to the buyer’s designated charity.  To learn more, please go to www.tgoan.org

Arneson also recently teamed up with Fishers resident Olivia Rusk, who speaks out for those affected by Alopecia, a condition which causes hair loss. After meeting Olivia, Arneson asked her to do voiceovers for the online version of Kiddy Ditties.

Arneson is interested in reading his “Kiddy Ditties” to live audiences here in the Geist area. If you would like to share Kiddie Ditties at an upcoming event, contact Arneson at 317-376-3777 or email him at guyarneson@yahoo.com.
