Bring your BFF (best friend forever), your spouse, sister, daughter, or mother to this class where you will learn the secrets of working with real chocolate.
Just like the original Belgium chocolate makers, students will learn how to make the perfect little bonbon. Techniques used in tempering real chocolate will be taught, as well as best practices when working with chocolate. Students will roll their own truffles, learn how to hand dip, fill and mold chocolates, and even make a “real chocolate” fondue to serve with fruit at your next summer cook-out. All students will be provided with the chocolate to use in class, as well as a mold to take home. Participants should bring a container to take home the chocolate treats that are made in class.
The class is offered on Thursday, May 15, through Lawrence Township Community Education, at a cost of $69 per person.
