LC Juniors Chosen for Boys/Girls State Conference

Juniors Scott Borer and Sean Jordan will represent LC at the annual Boys’ State conference at Trine University in Angola June 13-20. Junior Chris Hoopingarner is the alternate. Boys’ State is sponsored by the American Legion.

Juniors Camille Hayes and Margo Tucker will represent LC at the annual Girls’ State conference at Indiana State University in Terre Haute June 21-27. Junior Caroline Hall is the alternate. Girls’ State is sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary.

Both programs provide hands-on experience in politics and government with a mock election and legislature.
