Lawrence Township School Foundation Presents 9th Annual Gala

Six hundred guests are expected for the Lawrence Township School Foundation’s “Light Their Future” Gala on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Downtown Indianapolis Marriott.  This marks the first year the gala will be held downtown, as the event has sold out the last couple years at a smaller venue.
Guests will enjoy a silent auction and cash raffle, an elegant dinner, a live auction and dancing to the funky R & B sounds of Living Proof.

Needs of our schools continue to grow but state funding doesn’t keep up with the demands.  “We are excited that the Gala has become such a successful event and helps offer enhanced educational opportunities for our students,” stated Jan Keefer, Lawrence Township School Foundation Board President.  The Lawrence Township school system is preparing today’s students to be tomorrow’s leaders. Since its inception, the Foundation has given back over $2.4 million to Lawrence Township schools through classroom grants, innovative educational programs and scholarships.
