Lawrence Township is proud to announce the three teacher nominations for the Armstrong Teacher Educator Award:

Michelle Greene – Fall Creek Valley Middle School Teacher
Krista Nelson – Forest Glen Elementary Teacher
Brian White – Lawrence North High School Teacher
“The Armstrong Teacher Educator Award is given to a select group of K-12 teachers in the state of Indiana. This professional development opportunity enables these teachers to work with the faculty and undergraduates in the School of Education at Indiana University Bloomington in a variety of capacities, including teaching, research, and special projects and events.

Thanks to a generous gift from Cook Group companies in Bloomington, Indiana, the Martha Lea and Bill Armstrong fund in Teacher Education allows us to recognize outstanding school teachers in Indiana.These teachers are recipients of The Martha Lea and Bill Armstrong Teacher Educator Award.
