Sports of All Sorts hosted a first of it’s kind fundraiser last night to benefit the Lawrence Township School Foundation in two ways.

Over 200 dads and lads attended the evening-long event and were treated to volleyball, basketball, bowling, soccer, and of course snacks.

Acceleration Indiana was on hand doing personal training seminars, teaching the boys how to stretch and do agility drills.

“We don’t get many chances to hang out like this and do something together,” said Richard Wilson, a Lawrence Township parent watching his son play basketball.

Billy Keller, long-time Indiana Pacer player and coach, gave personal clinics to the groups of boys as they rotated from station to station.

Youngster Ryan Hutton from Geist was impressed with Billy Keller’s clinic. When asked if he knew who Billy Keller was, he replied, “yeah, he’s cool. He played for the Pacers a long time ago, before I was born.”
