HSE Schools Foundation dinner features Pacers Analyst Quinn Buckner

Quinn Buckner2 The Foundation dinner will feature speaker Quinn Buckner, vice president of communications for Pacers Sports & Entertainment Tuesday, March 24,  He is in his 11th season as an analyst for the Pacers’ cable television games. He has also been color analyst for the Cleveland Cavaliers and done coverage of the NBA with NBC and college basketball with CBS.

Buckner is a former head coach of the Dallas Mavericks and played 10 seasons in the NBA from 1983-1984, when he was a member of Boston’s NBA championship team. He also played 32 games for the Pacers in 1985-86.

An Indiana University graduate, he was a member of the 1976 NCAA championship team that also was the last college basketball team to go undefeated and win the national championship. He was a member of the 1976 gold medal winning U.S. Olympic basketball team. Buckner is one of three people in the history of basketball to win a championship on every level: high school, college, Olympics and the NBA.
