HSE Early Childhood Program Pairs Special Needs, Typical Tots

Hamilton Southeastern Schools’ Early Childhood Program is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year for its’ Community Classroom.  The Community Classroom is an inclusive classroom where children with and without special needs learn alongside one another.  The classroom blends seven children who have special needs with eight typical peers.  Community Classroom students attend school Monday through Thursday during the AM or PM session.  Community Classrooms are located at Brooks School Elementary and Thorpe Creek Elementary.  Tuition is $240 per month.  Children must be 3 years old by August 1, 2009 to participate.  For more information, please contact Julie Schrank at Brooks School Elementary, Ph: 915-4250, ext. 1073 or by e-mail at jschrank@hse.k12.in.us.
