Girl Scout Troop 47 Logs Community Service Hours

Hamilton Southeastern Service Unit Junior Girl Scout Troop 47 weathered the rain, sleet, and snow on January 10th to collect wagons full of items for the Fishers United Methodist Church Food Pantry.

The 4th and 5th graders from 5 Geist area schools, also collected donations for Operation Cookie Drop, benefiting soldiers deployed out of camp Atterbury. This activity logged hours toward their Bronze Award, the highest community based service project award a Junior Scout can achieve.
