Geist Watershed Alliance Hosting Neighborhood Meeting

Due to the blue-green algae problem that plagued Geist Lake this summer, the Geist Lake Coalition has formed a Watershed Alliance to contribute towards education, testing, and aquatic control which will help to improve the quality of our reservoir water. The Watershed Alliance is working with Dr. Tedesco at IUPUI and Jill Hoffman, President of Empower Results to accomplish this task.

Please join the Geist Watershed Alliance on Wednesday to discuss their business plan and how you can support your neighborhood to help carry out this effort. Plans are in place to file for a grant to support further testing, treatments, and whatever is needed to improve the water quality of Geist Lake. We believe we can make a difference and hope you will join us for this very important information session.
