Geist Boy Wins at Regional Science Fair

John Svendsen, a Geist resident and 5th grader at Mary Evelyn Castle Elementary School, participated in the Central Indiana Regional Science and Engineering Fair held at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on March 17.  His project, titled “Do Hydroponics Really Work?”, was selected as the University of Indianapolis Sigma Zeta Creativity Award winner for his age group.  He also received a University of Indianapolis Honorable Mention Award for Biology.
