Participation was up almost 30% for the Lawrence Township School Foundation’s 23rd annual golf tournament! Moving the tournament back into the township at a private club helped increase attendance for the event, which was held on June 4th at Old Oakland Golf Club. Almost 200 golfers turned out on a beautiful day and helped raise net proceeds of over $23,500.
Brian Hall, Fore the Kids chair stated, "We were happy to see so many new supporters of the Foundation and we want to raise even more money next year to benefit Lawrence Township students! Thanks to our many corporate sponsors and our contributing sponsors: Envoy, Inc., Burd Ford, Repro Graphics, Inc., Texas Roadhouse, The Grill, Monarch Beverage and Coca-Cola.
The mission of the Lawrence Township School Foundation is to encourage and support creativity, innovation and excellence that enhance the educational community of the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township. Since its inception, the Foundation has given back over $2.4 million to LT schools!
