Fishers filing suit at 10:30 am to stop incorporation

Fishers is filing an injunction this morning with the Hamilton County courts to stop the incorporation efforts by the new Towns of East and West Geist. They are claiming that they had their first reading on September 17th before the incorporation petitions were filed on September 21st. More video and comments to come…

Will the incumbents on the Fishers Town Council stop at nothing to prevent the will of the majority from being determined? Only by actually going thru the incorporation process will the voice of the people actually be heard, pro or con. This is legalized bullying, and is in the best interest of no one, except for those who are seeking to maintain their power.

Sorry Bob, it is improper to try to influence a judge that way, and it easily could backfire. Please don’t do it.
