Fall Fashions, Fundraising Unite at LTSF Luncheon

The banquet room at the Garrison was filled with ladies ready to shop for a cause (our children!) and take in the latest looks in fashions at the Lawrence Township School Foundation’s (LTSF) Ladies’ Luncheon and Style Show October 30th.

The event raised funds for LTSF programs, including teacher grants for innovative programs, the nationally-recognized “My Community Gets Healthy” campaign, and My Achievement Center academic centers in both Lawrence Township high schools.

“The luncheon and style show provided a wonderful opportunity for women in our community to come together for a great afternoon of fun with friends, yet at the same time, provide support for the future of our children,” said Foundation Executive Director Christie Love. “We appreciate having the opportunity to tell others about the successes of programs in Lawrence Township Schools that are financially supported by the Foundation. In order to build upon our successes and the strengths of our schools, it is imperative that we continue to receive private financial donations to supplement public funding. Thanks to the support of those who made the luncheon successful, and others, innovative programs can continue to be a mainstay of the Lawrence Township school curriculum.”

Title sponsor for the “Recipe for Success” event was STAR Financial Bank; Indianapolis Woman/Weiss Communications was contributing sponsor, and Repro Graphics Inc. sponsored the cookbook. Lawrence Township moms modeled fashions by The Secret Ingredient and spirit wear by AH Collection.  Guests enjoyed a handbag silent auction and shopped a boutique of select vendors which offered fun, functional and chic items. These participating vendors donated a portion of their event sales to LTSF:
