Dragon Boat Team Launches at Geist

Blustery weather didn’t spoil the launch and “dotting of the eye” for the Indy Survivoars Dragon Boat Racing Team at Geist Reservoir Sunday. Over 150 supporters and volunteers took part in the ceremonies at the Geist Marina.

“I feel like I just gave birth,” said Kathy Harrison, organizer of the first Dragon Boat Racing team in Indiana that emceed most of the days’ festivities.
