  • In the hands of the voters–That is how it should be VOTE yes!

  • As trustee of Fall Creek Township, I have full confidence that The Hamilton County Planning Department will protect the township to the best of their abilities. I believe the leadership, of the County Commissioners, proves this case. The Commissioners have and will always listen and continue to provide fair and just decisions on behalf of the taxpayers.
We will have some growing pains during the transition, if the public question is passed. The Township and the County will work together during this time to best serve the people of, not only Fall Creek Township, but that of Fishers as well.

  • I would much rather have zoning for my area in the hands of people that I can vote for. Right now, that is not the case. I appreciate the Township Committee having a public forum to get residents opinion on this subject. It is no surprise to me that the Fishers appointed committee did not hold a public forum. On this referendum, I will be voting “YES”.

  • too bad for us–Fishers Town Council just voided the refendum by extending its planning jurisdiction by 2 miles which drags us in whether we like it or not-and it is all legal under Indiana law
One more example why Fishers needs to be a city with term limits

  • what ordinance did this?

  • Read the article in today’s Indy Star. This is just another example of the heavy hand of the Fishers Town Council not listening to the will of the people. They aren’t willing to let the voters decide. The handful of Town Council members think they know what is best for all of us, no matter where we live. There is a saying that “Power is the Great Aphrodisiac” and the Fishers Town Council is high on Power. Now I know how people in other countries feel living under a dictatorship.

  • Did you notice the large sign on the NW corner of 96th & Mollenkopf. Unbelievable! The scare tactics that the Fishers Town Council is using to get voters to vote NO on this referendum is shameful. They want you to believe that the County Commissioners will allow a landfill around Geist Reservoir, which provides drinking water to the Indianapolis area. Oh yeah! And the EPA is going to look the other way and allow this to happen. I don’t think so! Does the Fishers Town Council think the voters are all a bunch of slow learners, incapable of rational thinking. Why are they even bothering to sway voters, if they passed an ordinance. Must be a glitch in there somewhere. The referendum is still on the ballot. Vote YES on this referendum!
