Mark Heiden was a presenter Feb. 3 at the Indiana Conference on Learning, a statewide conference attended by approximately one thousand Indiana educators. The conference provides educators with a forum for statewide networking including 60 breakout sessions during which Indiana principals, teachers, and counselors share strategies successfully used in their schools to raise student performance and close achievement gaps. Heiden’s presentation was titled Preparing Students for a Global Economy. His presentation focused on how to bring global competency into our classrooms through international travel opportunities for teachers. --submitted by HSE Schools.
